The R3 Shannon wears every single night.
A lifelong athlete and mom in her 40s, Shannon kept waking up stiff, drained and in pain. She switched to the Reviv R3, worn overnight, and felt relief the first night. Months in, she sleeps through and wakes up lighter.

How did the R3 help Shannon?
The three changes she talks about most. Her experience, not a promise.
Deeper sleep
She felt relief the first night. Now her jaw stays in a better position while she sleeps, so her body can actually rest. "I sleep through the night every single night."
Less jaw & morning tension
The pounding headaches, stiff jaw and neck-and-shoulder tension she used to wake up with have eased off. "I wake up with less head, neck and shoulder tension."
More energy
Instead of waking up drained and heavy, she wakes up closer to the lighter, more energized version of herself. "Refreshed instead of broken."
Three steps. All of them easy.
Take it out of the box and wash it
Wear it to sleep and 2–3 hours during the day
Wash it and let it dry
Consistency is the whole game
- Weeks 1-2: the adjustment phase. A little soreness or extra saliva is normal, your soft tissue is adapting, not a sign anything's wrong.
- Build up gradually: shorter daytime sessions first, then overnights. Ease off for a bit if it ever gets sharp.
- Over the months: the changes Shannon talks about, deeper sleep and less morning tension, come from wearing it consistently, not from wearing it harder.
What people say about the R3
Questions, answered
How should I start? ›
Wearing it: the standard pattern is overnight plus 2 to 3 hours during the day. Build up gradually with shorter daytime intervals first. The early phase is the hardest and gets much easier after a few weeks.
Early discomfort: sore teeth, achy gums and extra saliva in the first weeks are the soft tissue adjusting, not a problem. Take breaks if it gets sharp, don't push through pain.
Faster results: consistency first, then simple stretches like Bite and Hold alongside the guard.
How does sizing work? ›
Width matters most. Measure the outer edges of your upper molars at their widest point, shown in this size guide video.
Medium (46mm) fits teens and smaller mouths, Large (53.6mm) fits most adults, and XL (59.6mm) is for larger mouths.
Why does it work? ›
Think of the soft tissue over the skull like a balloon. Grinding your teeth down deflates it over time, what we tend to call "aging." Adding height back with gentle, consistent pressure runs the same physics in reverse.
How many people have done this? ›
Over 30,000 people have started using Reviv appliances and this method.
What is it made of, and what's included? ›
