How to use your RS1

Do not mold

Just wash it off after you receive it.

Pop it in your mouth

The ledges should face down and sit inside the lower teeth. This helps keep it in place.

Use it while playing athletics

Clench lightly on it while active. Take it out when speaking.

Wash it after use

Wash with warm water and soap. Leave to dry in a dry place.

What is RS1?

RS1 is Reviv's sport mouthguard — designed to keep your bite unlocked while exercising and playing sports so that you reap the biomechanical benefits of that.

How is RS1 different from R1, R2, or R3?

R1, R2, and R3 are designed for nighttime wear and have channels for both upper and lower teeth. They are a bit bulky whereas RS1 is smaller and thus easier to use during the day. RS1 also has ledges for the bottom teeth but is completely flat on top.

Does RS1 require any molding or fitting?

No molding required. RS1 is ready to use straight out of the box — just fit it in and train.

What sports is RS1 designed for?

RS1 is built for playing sports, exercising, etc. In general it keeps the upper and lower teeth separated without locking the bite, which has positive biomechanical impacts in our view.

Can I wear RS1 all day?

RS1 is meant to be used more for athletic use — gym sessions, classes, sport, and active daily movement. But it can also be used as a normal daytime mouthguard like RD1 (RevivDay). But given that RD1 molds to the lower teeth and RS1 doesn't, RS1 is likely not as comfortable as a casual wear day guard as RD1.

How do I clean RS1?

Rinse with cold water before and after each use. For a deeper clean, use a soft toothbrush with mild soap. Avoid hot water — it can distort the shape. You can also use Repod for a thorough clean.
